REMEMBERING the true spirit of Christmas, Re/Max Toti will again bring joy to many children through its annual toys and books campaign. The property giant made sure its campaign is remembered by decorating the outside of their offices with Christmas lights and décor during the festive season, drawing in donations.

The office on the hill in Lewis Drive is fast becoming a landmark in Amanzimtoti and drew the attention of locals and visitors alike.

“The initiative is part of an international Re/Max campaign to donate toys and books to less privileged children and forms part of our social programme,” Re/Max sales operations manager, Howard Voss said.

“We had a brilliant response with between 140 and 200 people visiting our offices at night and donating tons of books and toys. In fact, donations more than doubled what we received last year. Our estate agents worked really hard to achieve our goal. They were welcoming people every night, making and handing out hotdogs and popcorn.

“The estate agents will now nominate the charities of their choice and we hope to be able to assist two or three charities this year,” Voss said.

Those who visited the premises agree, the campaign is equally suitable to givers and the receivers.
