Fibre artist to give talk at art association

2016-03-09 06:00

THE Upper South Coast Art Association (USCAA) will be hosting Jeanette Gilks as their speaker on 19 March at the monthly gathering of artists at 2.15pm.

“Jeanette will talk to us about her life as an artist, her training at UCT, how she became a fibre artist and how she uses that medium. She is a member of the Garret Artists and as she is a very dynamic speaker, she will inspire all,” said chairperson Patricia McCann.

The guest artist will present a one-day workshop on 14 May at the Toti Activities Centre and everyone is invited. - Supplied.
