TAKING place at the Kings Park Athletics Track on Sunday, July 16, the Totalsports Women’s Race will be the source of much excitement with a fast, flat route spurring runners on to achieve personal best finishing times.

“We’re excited to welcome the Kings Park Athletics Track as the new venue of the Totalsports Women’s Race in 2017,” says Michael Meyer, managing director of Stillwater Sports.

“The route is fast and flat. Although similar to the 2016 route, this year runners will be guided in the opposite direction. We expect to see many runners beating their personal best 10km finishing times on the day.”

“We also have good news for runners that like to savour the moment.

“Although fast and flat, the route is also scenic and features a number of Durban’s iconic landmarks including the Moses Mabhida Stadium, Umgeni Estuary and the Durban Promenade.

“We look forward to welcoming all entrants, elite and social, to the start line in Durban where they will ‘Run For Life’ in support of PinkDrive.”

With two fun events to choose from, a 5km run-fun walk and a 10km run/fun walk, the Totalsports Women’s Race is ideal for family and friends.

The 10km and 5km events take place on Sunday, July 16 from Kings Park Athletics Track.

Each entrant will receive a Nike T-shirt, an exclusive finisher’s bracelet, on-route entertainment and a live performance by a well-known South African artist.
