ENJOYING a full moon, a group of enthusiasts joined the full moon beach walk on Friday, June 9.

“The initiative started two-and-a-half years ago in January 2015.

We walk every month on the day of the full moon from Baggies Beach to Winkle-spruit Beach and back. Normally between 10 and 30 people join us, consisting of adults and children and people with dogs,” Yvonne Dixie, initiator of the walk said.

The public is invited to join them on the next walk. In summer the walk commences at 5.30pm and in winter at 6pm.

“Dogs on a leash are welcome, it is great fun,” Dixie said.
