High tea hosted, a huge success

ATTENDEES to the Kingsburgh Child and Family Welfare Denim and Diamonds High Tea enjoyed an afternoon of socialising on Saturday, August 12

Chairperson, Jenny Smith said that Kingsburgh Child Welfare looks forward to hosting another high tea next year.

“Our sincere thanks go to all who contributed to make this a great success. Reverend Peter Butterworth had us all spellbound about how he interpreted the theme into our everyday lives. Reverend Andrew Manning was the perfect Master of Ceremonies. A great thank you to St Mary’s Anglican church for the use of the facilities.

“To Josh on guitar, singer Jamie Manning, dancers Ian and Truitjie and Caryn Harveys Dance studio­ for the entertainment.”

Kingsburgh Welfare are looking for volunteers to help in their charity shop a few hours a week.
