“THANK you so much to all the senior citizens, Park Rynie Club for always supporting and helping Khanya Hospice,” said CEO Neil McDonald. Khanya Hospice was again invited to share with the senior citizens, the work the organisation does in the area. McDonald was happy to be there as some club members donate their “time” and volunteered at our Scottburgh and Pennington Hospice shops. “We need hands to help unpack and clean the donated items, hang the clothes up, price them, and put them up for sale, and keep the shops tidy as some customers really move things around. “And this is where the volunteers play a vital role,” McDonald said.“Volunteers serve the customers and assist. We really appreciate and honour all of our senior citizens, who are able to help Hospice. You can see all the pink items in aid of Breast Cancer Month and next month will be for the men, Movember,” McDonald said.
