MANY of us belong to a church, a cell group or a Bible study group and have found we still lack in-depth Bible knowledge.
So with this in mind Mduduzi G. Zondi started Mduduzi Zondi Academy in 2006 in Pietermaritzburg.

The academy offers a one-year diploma course or a three-year complete course in Bible study. The academy is growing and recently new branches were opened in KwaFelekisi, Ifracombe and Nongoma.

Mduduzi Zondi Academy is registered as an NPO and the course is based on Satelite Bible College International, with the academy’s own modules added. The academy bases it’s vision on the Bible, Hosea 4 verse 6: “My people are destroyed for the lack of knowledge …”

“Twenty two students have enrolled in Umgababa. The course also covers interesting subjects such as church history and how to prepare a sermon. Students attend two classes for two Saturdays every month from 9am to 1.30pm or people who want to study through the post can also be accommodated,” Zondi said.

Training is not denomination based and anyone can subscribe.
“There are no entry requirements, as long as you have an interest in studying the Bible you are welcome as long as you are able to read and understand.”

The certificate course will qualify holders to offer counselling in prisons and hospitals, among other places, as employment opportunities.

The academy operates from the Assembly of God Church premises in Ifracombe.
