FEVER REPORTER

CLOSE to Kingsburgh Mall, next to the town’s oldest steakhouse, a unique holiday shopping experience waits to be discovered. This unusual destination is home to a coffee shop, a gift shop that sells anything from an envelope to a table, a mini-farmyard with farm animals and everything tobacco and accessories.

The shop is the latest addition to the Time Flies chain, with a new twist, but with all the extraordinary watches, gifts and toys the store has become known for. The chain now has four stores in Mauritius, two in Cape Town and locally in Kingsburgh, Galleria Mall, Gateway Shopping Centre, uShaka, Berea Centre, and another is opening in Pennington next year.

The Kingsburgh store is a friendly shopping environment conveniently open from 8am to 4.30pm daily, with possible extended festive shopping hours to be announced.

Should you still be shopping for Christmas trees and decorations, Time Flies Kingsburgh will be a wise stop with a wide selection at really reasonable prices. To make your unique festive pudding, stock up on utensils and baking accessories while you are there.

A wide selection of watch brands, including Time Flies own brand, Altav, makes festive gift shopping easy. All watches carry a six month warrantee on the mechanism inside, while the retailer offers watch repairs and the replacement of batteries.

Extending on the watch range is a huge selection of “His and Hers” gift sets, which includes frames, mini-clocks, collectors’ items, wall clocks and jewellery.

A selection of knives and pens makes gift shopping for dads a breeze.

Alternatively there is also a variety of smoking gift sets, crushers, pipes and cigars.

A selection of Vapes with different flavours, Rizzlas, Hubbly Bubblies, E-cigarette flavours and acrylic and vapour-smoking bongs, which makes it hard to beat when it comes to choices.

No wrapping will be necessary as the retailer carries a ridiculous variety of gift bags at equally ridiculous prices.

An ideal shopping experience for the whole family, their handbag and beach bag range will make ideal gifts for a teenage sister or mom. Given the price range, you are likely to fill the bags up with cosmetics, sunglasses and jewellery, also on sale here.

For children of all ages there awaits toys galore, plush toys, building blocks, learning games, board games, water games and white boards, to mention a few. Maybe a Boogie or Kicka board suits your energetic children better, or a selection of remote control cars. It will be really difficult to leave this store empty- handed.
