Kuswag progresses to Team Talk semis

KUSWAG will go forward to the semi-final of the Rotary-Daily News Team Talk competition, which will be held in Durban next week.

Four teams - Kuswag Skool, Kingsway High School, KwaMakhuta Combined High School and Esizibeni High School - competed on 2 March at Kingsway High in the competition and Kuswag pupils talked on the topic “Cementing relationships”, while Kingsway pupils talked on “The feasibility of free tertiary education”.

KwaMakhuta Combined pupils addressed whether an anti-corruption campaign will have any impact on the majority of people in South Africa and Esizibeni High pupils addressed the issue of school dropouts.

After feverish debating, Kuswag emerged victorious. - Supplied.
