MARK White Nissan introduced the new 2017 LE Nissan Navara to clients on Thursday, 16 February. Sales are expected to open on 15 March, but that did not deter buyers from placing their orders at the pre-launch.

“The Navara is the ideal family vehicle when it comes to comfort, the ideal power horse for camping when it comes to towing and for anywhere off-road,” Navara representative Michael Marsden said.

“The LE Nissan Navara 2017, 2.3 twin turbo diesel engine boasts 140KW output and 450nm torque. The bin has one- ton loading capacity and comes standard fitted with utility racks and a 12 volt power outlet for connecting a travel fridge, etc.” he added.

Standard features include navigation GPS, touch-screen technology, an electric window separating the front from the back, heated leather seats, a reverse camera and sensors at the back (for parking assist), rear air conditioning and electric seats. Indicators on the side mirrors are also standard in the LE. Another great feature is LED daytime running lights. “The manual version has a six-speed gearbox, while the automatic boasts a seven-speed gearbox. The multi-link coil rear suspension, makes this vehicle much stronger and able to handle tougher terrain,” Marsden said.
