THE Nissan Aftersales Competition annually awards great competence of the dealer networks’ technicians, service advisors and parts sales executives.

Throughout the years this competition has been widely recognised in the automotive industry, and supports the dealer’s aim to deliver industry leading service to Nissan customers.

The testing phase was launched in October 2017, with tests for Gear 1, 2 and 3 running from October 2017 to January 2018.

Of the 665 technicians, 183 parts sales executives and 252 service advisors who wrote the Gear tests, the 10 highest results per category were selected and invited to the final rounds.

The final round for the Aftersales Competition took place on February 21 at the Nissan Rosslyn National Training Centre for Technicians, Service Advisors and Parts Sales Executives.

The competition commenced with the preliminary online tests (Gear rounds) and the participants excelled.

During the national final round, Nissan experienced a very high level of expertise and commitment from all three categories of the competition.

A total of 23 dealers participated in the national finals from which the top 10 of each category of Service Advisors, Parts Consultants and Technicians were chosen to compete for further testing at the Nissan Plant in Rosslyn.

The national technician winner from Mark White Nissan was Juan du Toit.

The national winner, parts sales executive, was Monique de Wet.

The national winner, service advisor, was Estee McCaig.

Du Toit and McCaig will be invited to attend the global awards ceremony in Japan in October.

De Wet will receive an incentive trip later in the year.- Supplied
