QUALIFIED notary and conveyancing attorney, teen girl life coach and women empowerment life coach, Abigail Nadar is one to help people see their value and potential even when they cannot see it.

Being in an all-girl school sparked the passion of motivating teen girls in Nadar’s life.

“I went to an all-girls school and I am very familiar with issues girls face on a daily basis. Things like diet, self-confidence, purpose, image, career decisions and difficulty in communication,” said Nadar.

She assured that she had first-hand direct experience as she was growing up but managed to conquer all of that and became confident.

Nadar then went on to be a presenter on Lotus FM while in university pursuing her law degree. With the support of her parents and lecturers she managed to balance both her studies and being on the radio.

One of two South Africa’s Teen Wisdom Inc life coaches, Nadar is passionate about empowering young ladies to make better choices in life, to value themselves and also improve their confidence, self-esteem and future endeavours.

Nadar also has a registered coaching company, The Abigail Neupal Coaching Academy, which offers life coaching for teenage girls and young ladies.

“I decided to open my own coaching academy because there are not too many training places in South Africa where people can go to be trained as life coaches. This way we can increase the number of life coaches we have in the country because we definitely need them,” said the life coach.

Not only is she passionate about empowering young girls, she also developed a passion for motivating and empowering women.

“My women empowerment initiative comes after having coached teenage girls for about five years, I had women, these girls mothers, talking to me about their life problems, the fear of being directionless and the difficulties in being a mother and working woman.

I know about the challenges of balancing family and corporate life, so I decided to look for another organisation that I would get my training from,” said the former Lotus presenter. Nadar registered with the Simply Woman Accredited Trainer Institute (S.W.A.T) for a three-year course and she is currently in her second year.

“ I may still be under training for this qualification but I am allowed to coach women as I am already qualified as a life coach, I find it most fulfilling doing this kind of work,” said Nadar.

Nadar offers free services to schools and underprivileged communities as she believes they are in need of services like this but usually do not have the finances for it.

“I want more schools to know that these things happen, that there are people who come out to help the community. I work with groups of girls for free, purely as a service and I am always willing to do this for communities,” said the life coach.

Teen coaching has benefits, such as the young ladies get to know the strength they possess within them, confidence and it even goes as far as preparing the young ladies to be confident when giving speeches in front of a class and for job interviews.
