Petrol station robbed

ON Wednesday, 9 November between 12.17am and 12.20am, six unknown black males entered the premises of the Total Garage in Kingsway, robbing it of cash and cigarettes.

“One suspect pointed a firearm at a petrol attendant and forced him into the shop.
“Three suspects then entered the shop, armed with firearms, and pointed the firearms at the cashiers behind the counter, demanding cash.
“A further two suspects entered and took cash from the tills and packets of cigarettes,” said SAPS Captain Charlene van der Spuy.

The suspects left the store on foot, running in the direction of the Amanzimtoti CBD.
