THE popular annual Poinsettia Park Fête will be held on Saturday, July 1 with a new starting time - 8am to 2pm.

“We have incorporated art and craft stalls with our regular stalls. Anyone interested in having a stall can contact Martin Erasmus on martin @art-me-africa.com or 079 605 1049 to book,” PR officer Wendy Lloyd said.

“Frozen characters, Elsa, Anna and Olaf, and a minion will be visiting at about 10am to meet the children. There will be plenty more entertainment, including line dancing, exercising with ribbons and Eden Rock, Fiona and Wanine.

“We would like to thank Peter Surmon from Ampsers who will be taking care of the sound requirement,” Lloyd said.

The public is invited to join them for something to eat, from toasted sandwiches, boerewors and bacon rolls to curry and rice and pancakes. and don’t forget to buy some homemade ginger beer, marmalades and baked goods.

“The residents have work hard, producing beautiful handmade goods, and many other items for example, jewellery, books, frames, glassware, toys and even a stall selling tools and odds and ends.

“Enjoy a visit on the tea garden, where wonderful treats will be on offer,” she added.

Contact Lloyd on 031 904 2079 or Rina on 082 359 3256 for more information.
