IF you are an aspiring photographer, Sapphire Coast Tourism, in association with Amanzimtoti Fever gives you an opportunity to have your photos of our lovely area published.

The idea is to build up a stock of amazing tourism pictures throughout our four seasons, to be used in advertising by Sapphire Coast Tourism, and at the same time, develop the skills of amateur photographers.

To top this, there are great prizes on offer. The monthly first prize for the winning photograph is R1 000 and the theme for July is “Our Coastline” and can vary between pictures of the Sardine Run to holiday snaps on the beach.

To enter, like the Amanzimtoti Fever Facebook page and from there like the Sapphire Coast photo competition page, which will launch on 1 July.
Simply post your best photos on the photo competition page, taken in 2016, according to the theme for the month as published in Amanzimtoti Fever. Themes will range from holiday snaps, landscape pictures of our amazing coastline or anything else Sapphire Coast - and the winning picture of the month is printed in Fever.

Prior to uploading, ensure your photograph is at least 300dpi, the minimum quality required to print in the Fever. One to three images can be uploaded with a combined file size of 5MB.

Remember to submit your name and surname, email address, contact details and tell us about your image:

• The location (a description of where and at what time the picture was taken).

• Your camera details (model and make of camera, film stock and lens).

• Your camera settings (lens focal length, shutter speed, aperture (f-stop) details.

• Which accessories were used (a tripod, filter, polariser, or other accessory).

You’ll find all the competition rules online.
Happy snapping.
