THE SAPS is seeking information regarding a hit-and-run that took place on 22 December, 2016.
At 6am members of Amanzimtoti SAPS attended to a report of a body lying on the side of the road on the N2 north-bound, next to Arbour Crossing.

“On their arrival they found a body of an unknown black male about 35 years of age dressed in a navy pants, red striped golf T-shirt and black All Star takkies. There was also a black bag next to the body,” SAPS PRO Captain Charlene van der Spuy said.

“It appeared the deceased was hit by a motor vehicle. According to the paramedics who examined the body, the incident could have occurred about eight hours earlier. The deceased was taken to Gale Street Mortuary,” she said.

A case of culpable homicide is being investigated by Amanzimtoti detectives.

Anyone with any information, which might assist in the investigation and identifying the deceased, must contact Amanzimtoti detectives on 031 913 1300/26. - Supplied.
