THE SPCA Amanzimtoti and Sweetwaters Church are combining forces this year to hold a family evening with the organisation’s annual Carols by Candlelight event. The event will take place on 16 December from 4pm to 8pm.

“We will have the Carols by Candlelight sing-along at 7pm, accompanied by Sweetwaters Youth Band. This will take place at the Sweetwaters Church Youth Centre at 3 Sanders Road, Winklespruit,” Michelle Hannan, Toti SPCA PRO said.

There will be hot food and refreshments on sale. There will also be rides for children i.e. jumbo rides, bunji, swing chairs and a jumping castle, all at no cost. Flea markets stalls will also be part of the event as well as an light display and children will be able to have a photo taken of them with Father Christmas and there will also be a drumming circle, hosted by Happy Drums’ Gavin Hughes.

Attendees are requested to bring a donation of pet food for SPCA Amanzimtoti.

“There is plenty of secure parking so please come and join us. Those who would like to book a flea market stall can contact Cathy Keegan during office hours on
031 916 2653. To hire a stall is R50 per stall and to hire a table from the church is an extra R20. Sweetwaters Church office hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm,” said Hannan.
