THE Amanzimtoti SPCA will be hosting an open day on May 26 at 1 Nyati Road, Athlone Park, and the community is invited to attend.

There will be dog walkers and cat lovers on hand on the day to answer any questions about any of the gorgeous animals up for adoption.

Cathy Rhoda Keegan and her team from Edu-Paw will be on hand to educate the community about the SPCA’S rural educational programme. Donations of dog blankets, old dog leashes and collars will be welcome.

There will be bacon-and-egg rolls and cold drinks on sale, along with warm coffee and baked goodies to enjoy.

The SPCA will have a one day only half-price sale on the shop goodies. The shop will be open from 8.30 am to noon. The SPCA welcomes any donations of baked goods, either savoury or sweet, to sell on the day. Please phone 031 904 2424/5 and let Zakhona Masoyi Phathakahle or Joelenne Laughton know what you can donate. — Supplied.
