RESIDENTS of Amanzimtoti and most of Durban experienced flooding and damages following the heavy rain yesterday (October 10).

Councillor Andre Beetge kept residents in the loop via social media of extensive damages around the community.

There were reports of a mudslide across the N2 between Toti and Seadoone Road.

Vehicles were apparently aquaplaning. The N2 north was also flooded at Toti River through Adams Road off ramp.

Kuswag and Kingsway schools apparently closed for the day.

At midday yesterday eThekwini Municipality closed all roads in the southern part of the city.
