WARNER Beach business owners, conservancy members and those involved with beautifying the subway to the beach, celebrated Heritage Day and the second anniversary of the project recently.

Volunteers repainted the light poles, but could not complete the task due to the weather.
They also provided additional support for the signs that has been erected at the entrance. The gardens were beautified by a “adopt-a-spot” initiative and concrete filled holes in the tar walkway.

Next the group will attempt to paint the floor in the subway tunnel to provide more light for the murals.  Security cameras have been installed and are working.
