Suspect in court for stolen property

A 47-YEAR-OLD suspect appeared in the Amanzimtoti Magistrate’s Court and charged with possession of suspected stolen property on 2 May.

The accused was found in possession of items valued at R50 000, including laptops, chargers, passports, driver’s licences, identity books, bank cards, business cards, binoculars, GPS’s, cameras and camera bags, image stabilisers, camera lens and cover, camera batteries and charger and a charging cord, a remote jammer, keys, glasses and several phones.

The case has been postponed pending a formal bail application on 9 May.
