AMANZIMTOTI High School is very pleased to announce that the South Coast branch of the Seagulls Swimming Club will be joining the AHS sporting family.

The club, founded by Olympic swim coach Graham Hill, will be offering lessons in the Penny Heyns Swimming pool five times per week.

Their aim is to establish a senior elite swimming squad in the Amanzimtoti area, that offers local swimmers the same opportunities as the bigger Durban schools.

The junior club at Warner Beach Preparatory is already growing from strength to strength under the guidance of coach Luke Isemonger, with over 50 swimmers.

Clayton Jimmie, two-time Common Wealth Games and African Games 100m Freestyle medalist will be coaching the swimmers at AHS and welcomes all swimmers, from those who are just learning through to the serious competitors.

For further enquiries, please contact Isemonger 082 530 8629 or Jimmie 071 679 5999 or email seagullstoti@gmail.com — Supplied.
