Teenager runs across road and hit

ON Sunday, 22 November, Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a pedestrian crash along the R102 in Umgababa, near Ultra City. Reports from the scene indicate that a 13-year-old boy tried to cross the road when he was struck by a vehicle.

“Netcare 911 paramedics and a medic from Amanzimtoti fire and the provincial services arrived found the child lying on the road with severe injuries. Paramedics stabilised him at the scene before transporting him to a Scottburgh hospital, said Chris Botha, Netcare 911 spokesperson - Supplied.
