Tennis club notices

2018-10-24 06:03

SOME great tennis was played on Saturday afternoon at the Amanzimtoti Tennis Club as the rain abated. The club welcomed players from Scottburgh, who enjoyed some good games. Players were on court until bad light got the better of them.

From 3pm, the club’s potjie chefs were busy preparing for the evening feast. The evening was taken up with good food, great music, and wonderful company.

A huge thanks to the members who assisted in putting together a very successful fundraising function. Special thanks to the members, their partners and friends who supported us.

The Development Clinic had to be cancelled due to the rain on Saturday morning but it is scheduled to continue next Saturday from 8.30 am onwards. Children can be brought down to the club for free coaching by Loraine Osborne and her assistants. — Supplied.
