Tennis club notices

2018-12-12 06:00

THE Amanzimtoti Tennis Club’s midweek ladies held their Christmas lunch at the clubhouse on November 28. A wonderful get together of past and present tennis players and good friends was had. Lunch was excellent. Thanks to all who contributed to the great success of this annual function.

The club’s Christmas spit braai held on Saturday evening, December 1, was a roaring success. A huge thank you to all who helped to put this event together.

Special thanks to Robbie and Chantelle who were involved in cooking the meat to perfection. To all the members who brought along salads and desserts for the table, a big thank you. Fifty people enjoyed a sit-down meal in the clubhouse. The rain was unexpected, but it certainly didn’t damper any spirits. A wonderful time was had by all.

Social tennis will continue throughout the holidays on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The development clinic will close after Saturday, December 8, and re-open when the 2019 school terms begins. — Supplied.
