ON Saturday, 27 February, Amanzimtoti Sports Centre (ASC), in conjunction with KwaZulu-Natal Cricket Union and eThekwini Sports and Recreation, are to host the KZN KFC Mini Cricket Tournament.

“This is a special day for us in Toti as there are over 1 000 children and coaches, families and teachers from all over KZN attending. Last year the event was a huge success and subsequently Cricket SA said ASC set the benchmark for this event nationally. They then and asked if we could host again,” said ASC chairperson Craig Chamier.

The event allows children U9, U10 and girls U13 to take part in mini cricket and a fun day as well as showcase some mini-cricket talent.

Teams and children are invited via their schools. There are KFC Kids zones and Dolphin players to stir up the excitement. - Supplied.
