KHANYA Hospice’s annual “Tree of Lights” will be lit during the three-day Hospice Fair in Craigieburn on the week-end of November 30.

The “Tree of Lights” will also be lit at the “Carols by Candle Light” event at the Umkomaas Primary School on Monday, December 10, at 6pm. There will be a small entrance fee at the school.

People who have lost a loved one are welcome to “buy-a-light” or, for those who can, can come to the Scottburgh Mall and write a message on a card and hang it on a special place that will be provided for all to see and read. The Hospice stated that some find closure and comfort for their pain and longing for their loved ones through this act.

The table, manned by volunteers, will be at the Mall from the beginning of December.

Hospice is also looking for volunteers who would be able to man the table selling the globes at the mall. Anyone willing and able to help to please contact Neil McDonald at 083 597 8985 or e-mail
