Two injured in Winklespruit crash

ON Wednesday, 6 April at 8.20pm Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a vehicle that overturned on the N2 south at the Winklespruit off-ramp in KZN.
Reports from the scene is that three females were travelling on the south-bound lane in wet weather, and when they took the off-ramp the vehicle veered off the roadway and overturned.
“Paramedics arrived at the scene and found that the vehicle had overturned several times, the twisted frame came to rest on its side in the bush. After medics triaged the injured it was found that two of the women sustained injuries ranging from serious to minor,” said Chris Botha, media liaison officer - Netcare 911.

The patients were treated at the scene before medics transported them to a hospital in Umlazi. - Supplied.
