ON Monday 1 February at 10.22am Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a vehicle that overturned along Seadoone Road near the mall. Reports from the scene indicate that the driver was rounding a bend while driving in a westerly direction when he hit the pavement on the left. The vehicle then veered across the road and overturned, the twisted frame coming to rest on its roof.

“Netcare 911 paramedics found two children aged four and five with the vehicle, the driver absconded from the scene. Even though the children were unrestrained they escaped uninjured. The South African Police was at the scene and will investigate the cause of the crash,” said Netcare 911 Media Liaison Chris Botha.
