THE Durban Natural Science Museum is looking to give young people in the field of conservation, tourism and marketing an opportunity to be part of the 2016 Volunteer Training Programme.
Preference will be given to candidates who are energetic and knowledgeable in natural science and who are keen to participate and make a contribution toward various projects offered by the department. This includes assisting visitors with information and making their visit to the museum more enjoyable and informative.
To qualify, you must have a matric certificate with Life Science or Biology. A qualification or experience in the fields of conservation, travel and tourism, marketing or education is essential.
The Volunteer Training Programme will start in February 2016.
Application forms should be collected from, and returned to, the Durban Natural Science Museum, 1st Floor, City Hall (Anton Lembede entrance).
Closing date for application is on Monday, 11 January 2016.
