Welfare needs assistance

2017-10-18 06:02

THE country in economic crisis means unemployment, poverty and low income is the order of the day at Kingsburgh Welfare.

“We are appealing to individuals, and families to donate clothing or non-perishable food as part of a fund-raising initiative for welfare.

“The principle of teaching children or individuals social responsibility is also part of our family preservation programme,” chairperson Jenny Smith said.

She added that the public should note they’re not government or lotto funded and therefore rely on the public to keep their doors open.

Anyone willing to donate can contact Jenny or Sandra on 031 916 2274. - Supplied.
