Buyel’Embo Village awarded the right to host the biggest showpiece in the history of deejay competition in SA.

Viceroy Makoya Mix National Finals to be held at Buyel’Embo Village, Mandela Park, Khayelitsha in the heart of the 2nd biggest township in South Africa on 7th Nov 2015.

This awesome and reputable deejay competition comes for the 1st time in the mother city. This will bring print media, television and radio all at 1 spot for the biggest showpiece e’Kasi, the village and its immediate communities will benefit hugely from tourism perspective.

Mandela Park used to be known to drug related including contact and violent crimes and this perception has been a huge nightmare for the owners however we are winning peoples minds since from inception of the village 2 years ago there has been no serious crimes associated and around the vicinity except lost phones and motor vehicle accidents that are beyond our control has been reported to us other than that we have put measures in place to eliminate or prevent criminal activities in and around the village.

Buyel’Embo Village is a tourist attraction site, venue hire, artistic hub, cultural village and event space but not a tavern nor a night club and we host different types of events from private, corporate, government and community events by means of hiring the space out to external promoters however the village has its own events every month and our next is Buyelembo second year anniversary celebrations on December 16 with a cover charge of between R50 andamp; R70 depending on the value of the sponsorship we receive. We closing the year with a new year’s eve free party and both events will boost national celebrity artists to be confirmed the soonest but 90% of our lineup always stays local. Viceroy Makoya Mix will be remembered by many as 1 of the most powerful and successful events come 7th Nov since the lineup its self give the impression. The line up includes: Tira, Dj Christos, Dj Rocco, Lulo Cafe,

Naked Dj, Monique Bingham, Dj Siso, including the five regional finalists.

Dj Quester from Chippa’s Place in Paarl will be representing the Western Cape at the highest level and hoping people from that part of the world will come in numbers to support one of their own. This is will encourage up n coming talented artist to work on their craft and to get such special prizes in a million time situation all brought to you by Distell SA.
