“The duty of comedy is to correct men by amusing them.”- Moliere

Who better than Molieree to rib Kefu’s Jazz patrons as Amasokolari Comedy Night descends upon them.

Moliere was a French playwright and actor who is considered to be one of the greatest masters of comedy in Western literature.

Be warned when the Amasokalari Comedy Night crew spew jokes on Sunday night (July 26), it might be that they are “literally” juiced by the 1622 born comedian.

Comics Rhorho Mnyamana, Siya Seya, Sakhumzi Memela, Lungelo Ndlovu and Carl Weber have promised to bring the riot to the Kefus Place.

The show will take place between 17:30 and 20:00.

Phumlani Vokovi, the brains behind the gig, said they are rotating their venues in a bid to “broaden” their audience.

“Our fan base is slowly growing through the word of mouth and marketing,” he said.

Kefu’s Place general manager Musa K said he was thrilled to have the comedians entertaining patrons.

“We are very excited to have these guys here,” he said.

Tickets are available at Computicket for R60. For more call 0782761075
