Langa police officers are raising awareness about robberies in the area. During the past week they have received a high volume of robberies and burglary complaints. In most cases people are being robbed in the mornings when they going to work and back. Firearm and knife are used to threaten the victims and its happening in different areas or streets. Cell phones and valuables are targeted. Burglaries happen overnight, and clothing and cell phones are being targeted. Criminals gain entrance by breaking windows and padlocks. People are advised to walk in groups when they go to and from work. alsowalk in streets that are well illuminated and have enough light and avoid dark passages
