Three of the world’s top internationally-renowned magicians will bring their unbelievable feats to GrandWest from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 October.

Hosted by the College of Magic, the Mother City’s only magical arts organisation, the International Stars of Magic will bring Max Maven, Paul Wilson and Rob Zabrecky to the stage as part of the 2015 South African Magic Championships, a triennial event held to select the best magician nationwide.

Local magic fanatics will be able to enjoy the ultimate magic convention during this three day fest with a series of contests, demonstrations, panel discussions and more.

The International Stars of Magic offers these mystic aficionados the rare chance to see Maven, Wilson and Zabrecky perform up close in the intimate environment of the Roxy Revue Bar.

American mentalist Maven have been hailed as one of the world’s greatest mind readers while deceptionist Paul Wilson from the UK is considered the world’s foremost expert on cons and scams as the star of BBC’s The Real Hustle.

Rob Zabreck, also from America has been named Stage Magician of the Year by the famed Magic Castle in Los Angeles twice.

The three will be joined by Fritz “with a Z” Alkemade. Hailed as Holland’s hottest magician, Alkemade is a trailblazer in impromptu magic.
