The second edition of the annual Taste The Culture Lifestyle Festival kicks off on Saturday afternoon at the Look Out Hill with a bang.

Event organiser Siyasanga Ntsizi described the festival as “prestigious place to mingle with whose who” the iconic township of Khayelitsha.

“We promise to keep the momentum and stay as fresh and as relevant to our community and sponsors,” he enthused.

This exclusive lifestyle party aims to educate the audiences in stuff like the art of wine tasting and food pairing, how to sip and savour beer, how to best enjoy your spirits (whisky and cognacs).

There will be talented sculptures, portrait artists and crafters exhibiting their works.

“We are gunning for the middle class from the townships and surrounding areas. This will uplift, sustain and grow our communities for better and to shape the next generation of leaders. This is a platform for young professionals to locate a class and lifestyle that best signifies who they are,” he added.

Siyasanga added a range of premium wines, beer and spirit distillers will there to show their secrets.

There will be music and entertainment galore featuring the internationally acclaimed Ralph Gum, Mshayi Mbeki , Deep Console, Dj Phira and Dj Kop of Afrosoul, Dj Luyar and many more..

Loyiso Mfunda said the event will transform “the area two days and nights”.

“It will be a party to remember. It will provide you an opportunity to discover new tastes,” he said. Tickets are on sale from the computickets, Rands Cape Town now for R100 (1 day pass), R175 (2 day pass) and R250 for VIP (includes Open Bar andamp; Buffet).
