Condolonces are pouring following the untimely death of Thando Qalinge who died in Brakpan on Friday last week.

Thando, a well-known personality in Visionland, collapsed at the City of Ekurhuleni whilst doing a work related presentation.

Emergency services personnel could not revive him on their arrival.

One of his former colleagues Hardley Makies could not hide his pain when sending out an email to people who knew him.

“ Like many of us, I must still come to grips with the loss of this intellectual, academic, socialite, husband and father of three children, but I feel like a knife has penetrated into my heart killing me softly,” he said.

Thando’s body was flown from Jozi on Wednesday afternoon.

“My mind and soul is in turmoil,” said Makies.

Thando was born on June 4 1972 and did his primary and high schooling Lehlohonolo and Kamvalethu respectively before graduation with national diploma in Human Resources.

He was currently pursuing an Honors Degree and was due to graduate in September.

He lives behind his wife, three children and six sibblings.
