Tribute to a revolutionary

2015-10-08 06:00

It is with great sadness to announce the demise of one of our own, the Pan Africanist Xolile JJ Ngxabane.

Sons and daughters of Azania allow me to say this cadre and intellectual was PAC-Apla commissar and a revolutionary to the core.

He was a freedom fighter and son of Africa, who joined the PAC during the apartheid times and immersed himself in the ideology and philosophy of Pan Africanism, Black Consciousness, African Nationalism, African Identity, Africanist socialist democracy, Africanist scientific socialism, self-determination, self-reliance, and self-acceptance.

Xolile JJ Ngxabane always stuck to the aims and objectives of the Pan Africanist Congress.

He also dedicated himself to: rallying and uniting African people into one national front, on the basis of African Nationalism.

To fight for the overthrow of foreign domination, and for the establishment and maintenance of the right of self-determination of the African people. To work and strive for the establishment and maintenance of an Africanist socialist Democracy, recognizing the primacy of the material and spiritual interest of the human personality.

To promote the educational, cultural and economic advancement of an African. To strive for the unification of Africa, from Cape to Cairo, Morocco to Madagascar.

Xolile JJ Ngxabane was the master-mind of all APLA operations underground, fighting against Apartheid in the Transkei region and the entire Eastern Cape. Ngxabane will be buried in East London on October 10 2015.

He lives behind a legacy of landlessness and poverty, for he held the without the land, the lives of the poor cannot be transformed, the lives of the workers cannot change for the better, the we cannot have true freedom and independence, the we cannot be free from unemployment, we cannot be free from poverty and we cannot be free from inequality. Rest in peace son of the soil of Azania. Hamba kahle M’Afrika
