The Jive Slave Route Challenge, taking place this coming Sunday (10 May) is one of those not-to-be-missed events on the sporting calendar.

There is a race for everyone – a halfmarathon, a 10km run, a 10km big walk as well as a 5km fun run/walk. The event, of which City Vision is the media sponsor, starts in Darling Street opposite City Hall and ends at the Grand Parade, following a scenic and historical route past many important landmarks. By simply entering, each participant will receive one free entry to the Castle of Good Hope, the District 6 museum and a R200 Mizuno shoe discount voucher. If you have entered the Jive Slave Route Challenge at Sportsmans Warehouse and forgot to collect your race numbers this past Saturday, don’t worry, you can collect your race number at the City Hall on the ground floor in Darling Street on Friday 8 May from 16:00 to 20:00 and on Saturday 9 May from 10:00 until 17:00. If you have entered the Jive Slave Route Challenge online, you can collect your race number at the City Hall on the same days and times as mentioned above.

Late entries will be accepted at the City Hall on Friday 8 May from 16:00 to 20:00; Saturday 9 May from 10:00 to 17:00 and Sunday 10 May from 05:30 to 08:15 (limited entries).
