There is no one who knows better than others. Respect others’ rights! Some leaders think they know better than others. They have a right to say what’s good for you. Like those past days.

When the master thought he knew what’s best for his slaves. History repeats itself. We have it today. The master wants to think for others. The master wants to be the boss. And the master doesn’t like what others say. Even if it is true, he doesn’t. He twists it and turns it to appear as if it is offensive.

And he knows how to whip up the support. So that everyone agrees with him.

And you look like a bad guy, such as Herman Mashaba. When he said the poor couldn’t manage funds, there was uproar. Like as if he can. Can he? Now, here’s a lesson. Let’s see whether you can do it. If you were given one rand, all things being equal, how would you spend it? You’d say it is small. What can you do with one rand? You’d spend it all, of course. Now take a guy who’s been taught the value of money.

What will he do? He’d invest 50 cents, spend 20 cents, give 10 cents to charity, and keep 20 cents for emergency. Or, am I kidding? No, I’m not. I mean it. This is what he will do.

Why? He will because he has been taught to do that. They start them young, when they are six or seven. And they teach them the value of money. How do they do that? They give them a book to record everything.

This is to enable them to account for how they use the money. There is a column for credit. And there is one for debt. The column for credit should be more. In other words, they should avoid debt.

Are the poor taught that? I don’t think so. That is why there is so much corruption. Money is siphoned for other things. People drive nice cars. The poor remain the same. Sometimes I feel they do not want us to know.

For if we do; they will be caught out. And once caught out, all that will be gone. They will be out of power. Real leaders are not rhetoric. They are not angry. They do not shout down. Issue threats. Stay positive.
