It is all systems go for the sixth edition of Taste the Culture Festival at the Rands in Khayelitsha, on Sunday 25 November.

Organisers are promising patrons top of the range entertainment, with renowned artists such as AKA set to dazzle fans.

There will also be a range of Kasi made traditional foods and beverages.

The festival, a brainchild of footballer Mark Mayambela and Siyasanga Ntsizi, is meant to dismantle class difference in society.

It is expected to attract established and emerging entrepreneurs across the province. Luthando Tshaya said people from all walks of life are welcome to attend the gathering. He said patrons will get an opportunity to collaborate with people from different fields and background.

“It is a good platform for people to interact through good music, fashion, food and beverages,” he said.

Tshaya said numerous stalls will also be set up to promote local businesses.

The festival will start at 11:00 until 23:00

Tickets cost between R100 and R300, with VVIP tickets costing R600
