All who want to be police reservists invited

The South African Police Service invites members of the community who are energetic, intelligent, physically and mentally fit and who are dedicated, with the desire to volunteer to serve the country.

They will be required to assist the South African Police Service in the fighting against crime.

Application forms are available at any police station. The Basic Requirements are that applicants be South African citizens, aged between 20 and 50 years of which documented proof must be furnished

To be mentally and physically fit to perform the duties of a reservist. Be in possession of at least Senior Certificate(Grade 12)

Able to speak, read and write at least two official languages, one of which must be English.

They should be prepared to take prescribed oath, provide proof of residence address.

They should not have any criminal records or any criminal or departmental cases pending against them.

They must accede to their finger prints being taken. They musty also not display any tattoo marks which will be visible when wearing uniform. Contact your nearest police station.
