Artists have time to enter

Young visual artists have until March to enter the prestigious Barclays L’Atelier art competition.

The annual competition is open to artists aged 21 to 35, giving them the opportunity to develop their talents abroad.

Building on the platform created in 2015, the competition is continuing to expand across Africa, opening in a number of countries, where Barclays has a presence.

The Barclays L’Atelier art competition is run in conjunction with the South African National Association for the Visual Arts (SANAVA).

Artists can enter by dropping their entries off at Rust-en-Vrede in Durbanville.

This Western Cape drop off point will be open for the delivery of entries from Monday 29 February to Friday 4 March (before 16:00).

For more information about the competition or how to enter, visit or call 011 350 3003..
