2016-02-25 06:00

Louis Moholo-Moholo is a formidable and extraordinarily dynamic drummer that has set Europe alight for a few decades with his skills.

On Saturday March 6 he performs for the first time in nearly 40 years to reconnect with his roots, neighbours and friends Athlone with an amazing line up of Hilton Schilder Errol Dyers Brydon Bolton and a very talented Zoe Modiga in Club 7764.

Moholo left SA in the 60’s and has been back a few times but only played in the city at selected venues which is always sold out and has also graced the stage of the CT Jazz Festival once.

The man from Langa is now based at home, and the show starts at 6pm.
