Community invited to imbizos

2019-08-15 06:01

Crime imbizos will be held in the Lwandle policing precinct tonight (Thursday 15 August).

Residents are invited to attend the meetings, which aims to give all stakeholders the opportunity to raise issues pertaining to crime, crime prevention methods and how best to work together to prevent crime in Lwandle.

The outcome of these meetings will hopefully map a way forward on what the community would want to be policed and take back the streets from criminals.

Meetings will be held at Agape church, on the corner Fikile and Magatya streets, and Khanyolwethu High School from 18:00 to 19:30.

Residents of Asanda Village and those living from Xaki to Celiwe streets in Nomzamo must attend the meeting at Agape church, while other residents of Nomzamo and Lwandle will meet at Khanyolwethu High School.

For more details on the gatherings, phone Sergeant Mthokozisi Gama of Lwandle police on 071 604 8373.
