After being a man behind the success of award winning artists in the country for many years, the seasonal producer, song writer, singer and entrepreneur dropped his first bang track, recently.

Alphas Thandukwazi Sikhosana, better known as Demor in music scenes, released a house music single titled Cliche, recently.

The song was warmly welcomed in national radio stations as it is enjoying air plays.

Demor is a Member of an afro band S.H.A.N.A(Simply Hot And Naturally African) together with Shota and Black Coffee as fellow band members.

He has worked, produced/co-produced/written albums and hit records for and overseen careers of many South African artists including Bucie of a hit Easy to Love, S.H.A.N.A, Thembi Seete, Lebo Mathosa, DJ Christos, Lvovo Derrango, Zakes Bantwini, Zano, Sticks &Stones SA, Dj Sun-EL, Les-Egos, Oristocratic, Nontu Xulu, Dj Sdoko, Mafikizolo, Dj’s @Work, Proffessor, Dj Cyndo, Joocy, DJ Tira, Black Coffee, Shota.

“I have produced hits for many artists, but now I think it is about time I focus on myself as an artist.

I have played my role and contributed in people’s success so now I busy building my business. I feel very blessed for contributing in other people’s careers. I thank God for the talent he gave me,” Demor said.

He said he is very happy for being received by his fans as an artist.

Demor is not in a rush to release an album as his experience in music is informing him about the change of landscape in the selling to CDs in the country.

Demor started his career in music as a member of a Mooi River cultural group, The Chosen Few, which was led by the late Peter Sokhela and ZAMA by Pastor Winston Jackson a reconciliation Band in the early 90’s.

Demor then showed that he meant business in music as enrolled for the National Diploma in music at Technikon Natal, now known as Durban University of Tecknikon (DUT).

His first productions, song writing and beat making were for Swazi Dlamini, Nqubeko Mbatha, Xolisa Gqoli, Mondli Ngcobo.

Demor produced and co-written a song titled Change, with Swazi and Xolisa Dlamini which went as far as winning a Metro FM and Coca cola songwriting competition hosted by Vusi Lestualo it ended up on Xolisa’s debut album.

He won the Hansa Pilsner/Metro FM and Sony Music songwriting competition again alone in 2002 with a song entitled Uthando Lwethu.

He is planning a tour in the city in September and also releasing a video for his track.
