LETTER: Depression affects everbody

2016-03-17 06:00

It’s really amazing how things can change in a split second.

Depression is not only for whites and widows. But even young Black people suffer from it.

A young fellow in his matric who suffered from depression scarred his hands using a razor blade.

Those hands could have changed the world.

His scars are a constant reminder of how alone and devastated he was. People must always remember that their actions have consequences. Now this fellow has to hide his scars under long-sleeved shirts.

People need to talk about their problems before it’s too late.
