Educare centre founder succumbs to illness

Vuyiswa Fatyela, a founder of one of the leading educare centre s in Khayelitsha has passed on and will be buried in Steinsberg on Sunday.

Fatyela founded Imizamo Yethu Educare Centre which later became known as Isisiphiwo Educare Centre.

Western Cape Early Childhood Development United Network Organisation’s Nomakhwezi Luthuli described Fatyela as a hardworking woman.

She urged other educare centre owners to join the network to make sure that their voice is heard.

“By showing unity we will make Fatyela smile wherever she is ,” she said.

Fatyela leaves behind four children.
