During the school holidays this June and July, the Two Oceans Aquarium will be jam-packed with activities to keep landlubbers of all ages entertained, inspired and warm.

With the aquarium’s extended hours from Saturday 23 June to Monday 16 July (09:00 to 18:00), there will be even more time to enjoy the wonders of this magical underwater world.

There will be special magic shows on Saturdays and Sundays at 10:00 and 13:00 at the Predator Exhibit. The aquarium’s I&J Children’s Play Centre will host a wonderful array of activities aimed at younger visitors. With thrice-daily puppet shows, arts ’n crafts and children’s books and toys, this area has been crafted to entertain the little ones while adults watch the antics of the rockhopper penguins in their outdoor swimming pool.

All of these activities are complemented by fin-tastic twice-daily feeding shows at the I&J Ocean Exhibit and the Penguin Exhibit. The sharks are fed every Sunday at 15:00.

For local music lovers, the first of three After Dark live gigs kicks off on Monday 25 June. Tickets are limited and available on Quicket.
