Fraternity on a spiritual ‘mission of gifting’

On Heritage Day last month, the Abathunywa Ministers Fraternity- an organisation that comprises of church leaders from different denominations- used their “spiritual gifts” to help the community by donating groceries to a needy family in Gugulethu.

The organisation was established in June, and according to Bishop Zamuxolo Mfihlo, the aim is to “take the pulpit to the community”. “We want to help the community by fighting crime, poverty, abuse, and discrimination because we want peace in our communities,” he said.
